Camping Part Four - with Friends

After being on our own for a number of days, friends of ours came up and joined in on the fun. They set up on our site and stayed for a few days, much to our delight. It sure didn't take Lincoln long to welcome them, and continued to shower lots of hugs and kisses to them.

We didn't see Keziah much those days, due to the fact that one of her most favourite friends was there to play with. These two get along very well, the cheeky monkeys:

The girls played, and played, and played. Every once in a while, Lincoln was allowed to join them.

Who knew being in a tent was so much fun?!

Yes, it was a fun time that was had by all! These girls have a special bond, a bond that we pray will continue to grow as they get older. It is really a shame that they aren't in the same school year. Oh wait, it is really a shame that they aren't even in the same school!! Maybe this next picture will convince her parents to move out this way more?!

But all good times do come to an end and before you knew it, it was time to go our separate ways. This left one in tears and the other confidently stating: I know why she is crying. It's because she will miss me.

Ah, the beauty of friendships!!

And that is it! A week filled with sand, sun, marshmellow men, traffic jams, campfires, food and friends. It was a blessed week and we thank God for the opportunity to have a week together.
